Hi there! I’m Lára Michelsen. I am an Icelandic writer who found her calling in putting words to a page. Sometimes those pages end up as exciting, informative travel articles. Sometimes, they end up as silly little satirical culture guides. Other times, they may end up as a lifestyle blog post about how to travel while depressed.
Before becoming a writer, I travelled the world for about two years. I then spent two and a half years at university majoring in English with an emphasis on literature. Several months after that I panicked a little bit about what to do with my life so I learned the basics of social media marketing with Meta’s Social Media Marketing Specialisation program at Coursera.
